A really lovely evening of largely traditional songs, music and stories, with everyone happily wanting more. Pete's reputation quietly grows over the years and his CD ‘Mearcstapa' attracted glowing reviews and airtime inc R3's 'Late Junction'. Pete is also part of the Band ‘Popeluc' (Pete, daughter Lucy and Ioan Pop from Romania who play traditional music from Transylvania and Britain). His 3 other CDs - ‘False Waters', ‘Apples, Cherries, Hops & Women' and ‘The Keys of Canterbury' are difficult to resist and there are Songbooks and CDs for children and Popeluc's CDs.

Leon's always welcome return brings the joys of a ‘World Turned Upside Down', one of his many well-known songs, recorded by Billy Bragg (among others) who put it in the charts in 1985. Early topical/satirical songs featured in TV's ‘That Was the Week That Was' and he has toured all over the world, written songs for famous stage plays, had 17 children's books published and performs in two shows ‘A Dinosaur in my Shoe' (for children) and ‘Look at it this way' (for adults). Immensely respected by his peers (look at the names on his CDs), as well as his humorous traditional-style songs with ironical or sardonically-human twists (accompanying himself on guitar), he writes and performs children's songs that adults enjoy too - he'll do one or two, especially if there are young folks around. A genuine priceless performer in the modern world.
