4 Isambarde
Chris Green (voice, guitar, mandocello), Jude Rees (oboe, voice) and Emily Sanders (voice, fiddle) are Coventry-based trio Isambarde who played their first local gig in April 2002 and have since drawn a lot of attention serving their apprenticeship at clubs and festivals all over the UK, collecting songs, tunes and admirers along the way. The quality of their singing, fine musicianship and undoubted flair for clever and sensitive arrangements never obscures the story in a song and their engagingly self-deprecating sense of humour, combined with the joy and vitality of their performance makes for a thoroughly enjoyable evening for listeners with a well-crafted programme of traditional and contemporary folk songs performed with guitar, fiddle, oboe and harmonies wrapped around the English tradition carrying it forward into the 21st century. They already have 4 albums and have just been signed to Phil Beer's new label, so their future is looking very bright.

18 Jeff Henry
The owner of a fine ‘can’t-help-listening’ voice, Jeff may accompany himself on guitar, Appalachian dulcimer, mandolin or harmonica (maybe not all at once) but he is equally happy singing unaccompanied from his large repertoire of songs old or new (traditional or traditional-style) and a few of his own beautiful songs. A superb solo performer, he has the ability to link his listeners into the songs with occasional gently wry humour bubbling through the surface. He is also half-a-duo with Brian Hooper and long memories may recall them in ‘Cats Whiskers’. As well as performing with Brian on the CD 'Southampton in Song', Jeff has produced a fine solo CD 'There .... and Back Again' and there is another CD in the pipeline. Together with fellow songwriters Barry Wake and Brian Hooper, he has taken another approach to the 'Titanic' story in a show called “Look Out” (first performance 10.4.2010 in St Michael's Church – try and get there).
