6 Lynne Heraud & Pat Turner
The owners of very attractive voices, Lynne and Pat (also plays guitar) previously said they had "trespassed, touted, marshalled, organised and performed at Clubs and Festivals in careers spanning two millennia" which is too good not to repeat - also they are "qualified laughter facilitators and titter inducers" - all too true! They are to be found running song harmony and spoons workshops and performing everything from English traditional to Victorian and Edwardian material as well as their own songs at Festivals and Clubs from Whitby to Broadstairs (and beyond) and they have 3 CDs (Parallel, The Moon Shines Bright and September Days) plus a book of their own Songs Wind and Water. 13 Anything Goes preceded by brief AGM at 7.45pm
20 Bill Caddick
This very talented man guested at the Fo'c'sle ten times over many years, but hasn't performed here since 1996 - far too long ago. He started performing solo at Festivals and Clubs in the early 1960s, joining puppet and street theatre group ‘Magic Lantern' from 1973-1975, but afterwards returning to solo performance and writing songs and shows. A member of the ‘Albion Band' and founder of folk-rock band ‘The Home Service', he occasionally trio'd with Peter Bond and Tim Laycock and continued to work at the National Theatre, writing for and appearing in famous plays including "The Mysteries" also performed in the West End, on TV and throughout Europe. He continues to perform solo as well as working on theatre productions and as a member of ceilidh band ‘All Blacked Up', local band the Jackfield Riverbillies and the new Anne Lennox Martin Band (phew)! Last, but NOT least, there are his songs; perhaps most well-known The Unicorn and the words of John O'Dreams, but many many others - "True people's songs', they'll be around as long as there's people to sing them" (Mel McClellan, BBC Radio Two).27 Anything Goes
