Mary sang at Manchester and Yorkshire Clubs and Festivals for many
years, accompanying herself on English concertina or banjo, as well as
playing keyboards/concertinas at sessions and for dancing and has been
heard singing in her native Welsh on BBC local radio. Her distinctive
musical voice is shaped by a great love of traditional singers and she
has compiled some beautiful songs from text fragments from different
sources. With a background of orchestral/chamber music mixed with free
improvisation and traditional folk dance, Anahata (cello, anglo
concertina, melodeons, pipes) is a fine instrumentalist who was
resident at Islington Folk Club and involved with bands and morris
teams in East Anglia and London. Together, their instinctive
appreciation and common love of traditional English music makes them
worth going a long way to hear.

Jeff has been singing and
playing around the folk clubs of Southampton since the early 70's,
and made his
first public appearance at the now-defunct Anvil folk club in Shirley,
Southampton.
The owner of a ‘can't-help-listening' voice, Jeff may accompany himself on guitar, Appalachian dulcimer, mandolin or harmonica (maybe not all at the same time) but he is equally happy singing unaccompanied from his large repertoire of old or new (traditional or traditional-style) songs. As well as being a superb solo performer, he is half-a-duo with Brian Hooper and long memories may recall them in ‘Cats Whiskers'. Jeff produced a fine solo CD ‘There .... and Back Again" in 2002 (and duos with Brian on the 2005 CD ‘Southampton in Song'). Hopefully there are more solo CDs to come - he is long overdue to ‘guest' here.
