Singing together since the 1970s (initially because they loved to sing), it is far too long since these well-loved and seriously-good harmony singers had a gig at the Fo'c'sle; in a just world, they would be valued all over the UK as well as here in the south. Ali Campion, Mary Lee & Martin Lee sing a glorious mixture of songs they love (including some very funny ones) written by other folks, by themselves, by Peter Campion (and those Anon/Trad people), occasionally accompanied by Martin on guitar. Some of us are lucky enough to have their first CD called ‘Unlimited' made in 2000; their second long-awaited album is called ‘All The Ghosts of Green' which they will have with them.

Seen in February at ‘Folklights' (faint memories stirred which they say was them floorspotting at the Duke in the mid-90s). These 5 lads sing from a very wide-ranging array of musical genres in what they call "barbershop style" - very fine close-harmony a capella singing with the full range of voices, from deep bass to high counter-tenor. In disorderly witty scale order (going down), they are Rupert Thomas, Nick Dyer, John Dyer, Alex Henderson & Toby Armstrong. Anticipate fine singing, well pickled (sorry) peppered, with occasional helpless laughter from their audience.
