Another living legend if there were any justice, Christina started her folk life as lead vocalist with the ‘New Bracken Band' and at one time ran the Rochdale Folk Club where Stanley Accrington was a regular visitor (just name-dropping). With a wealth of traditional and contemporary songs, ranging from weaver's woes to child slavery with love, death and marriage (or not) in between, Christina has graced the Fo'c'sle several times since she came to live down here, and every time she was/is a joy to hear.
