"Nothing will prepare you for the superb, warm performance that this man gives. Singing songs that are poignant or funny, sad or carefree, his voice is clear and light and his style of finger-picking makes playing the guitar look so easy. If you hear of him appearing at a venue close to you, seeing him is a must, an experience not to be missed." I've said it before and I'll say it again, this man's voice is clear
and tuneful, one of the best. His fifth Fellside CD, 'Pick Of The
Grinner' is a well balanced album, which I am delighted to get to keep
and you ought to go out and buy it. I'ts worth it. On Bram's first appearance at our Festival, his choice of material
and excellent delivery delighted the audiences. It certainly won't be
his last visit. Bram continues to prove his versatility by providing a quality
performance from a wide variety of material. He is a polished
performer, always providing value for money at the clubs I run and
visit. May I thank you for an excellent evening's entertainment which was
great fun and thoroughly enjoyed by all the Rotarians and friends who
attended, even though some had been wary of what they thought would be
an evening of just folk songs. No such thing! The comedy and interplay
between you and the audience, as well as the excellent quality of the
songs and music made for a memorable evening. Bram Taylor has produced an album
that displays all the quality,
charisma and intelligence that could launch him into the major league
folk arena. Imaginative arrangements and superbly atmospheric
accompaniment. His Choice of material is perfectly suited to his warmly
restrained voice and suggest that on this form Taylor is potentially
worldbeating.
Bram guested at our club and
thoroughly entertained a crowded room,
performing many traditional and contemporary songs laced together with
hilarious tales from his native North West. This was his first
appearance at our club but I'm sure it won't be his last.
