Well-known throughout their own county of Lincolnshire, both for their Club work as a duo and as members of the Higgledy Piggledy Band, Bill & Dave present a fine blend of voices mellowed by years of singing together. Their selection of songs encompasses both ancient and modern accompanied in traditional style on English and duet concertina, harmonica and melodeon, with enough choruses to satisfy any audience.

The pleasure they get from singing is obvious and since the release of their debut album " ... Their Fine Array" they have taken their music further afield in Clubs from Kent to Lancashire and Festivals including Cleethorpes, Holmfirth and Four Fools, Chorley. Their eagerly awaited second album "Old Men & Love Songs" (BILDA 002) has recently been released and has received enthusiastic reviews.

Billed as "One of Lincolnshire's Best Kept Secrets", the secret is beginning to leak out!

"It's the love of singing which emerges so strongly ... a combination of soaring harmonies and melodic squeeze-box accompaniments."
Holmfirth Festival 2001

"[They] ... represent all that is so special about folk music."

Martyn Wyndham-Read
