Fo'c'sle Programme November 1999

5 Anything Goes (with a *Sparkle*)

12 George Wilson & Keith Holloway (aka Blo Na Gael)

A new flavour to traditional and contemporary folk from two artistes well-known here, there and everywhere - specialising, they say, in 'Weddings, Divorces, Retirements & Bar-Mitzvahs' with voices, melodeon, mandola, guitar, mandolin and bass. Will sing 'The Wild Rover' with skill and panache to almost any tune!

approached from Orchard Place.

All side-roads are one-way into Queens Terrace,
which is itself Eastbound only

The Fo'c'sle is joining forces with Woolston [Obelisk] Folk Club to bring you this fabulous new band of vocalists/multi-instrumentalists Paul Sartin of 'Belshazzars Feast', Young Folk Award-Winner Tim van Eyken, Benji Kirkpatrick of 'Copperknob & Sons'; (Robert Harbron, heard with Tim to wonderful effect in 'The Voyage', is unwell). The four sounded amazing together at Sidmouth. Support from the well-loved Steve Jordan. Tickets are £5.50 (no concessions) and may be obtained from either club. The event is scheduled for 7.30pm prompt -11 and no more than 100 tickets will be sold.
