2 Anything Goes

9 Hen Party

Sarah Morgan, Alison Muir & Heather Bradford

Delightful à capella trio with an impressive pedigree - Sarah Morgan and Alison Muir of the brilliant 80's harmony group Bread & Roses, plus the superb voice of Heather Bradford. They sing a variety of English, American, and Celtic material with Heather's Irish background shining through the vocal mix, and draw on contemporary and traditional music, even adding a touch of Cole Porter. Everything they sing is hallmarked by their enjoyment of good harmonies and by the wit and humour of their presentation and they have a knack of rooting out splendid choruses. As Bracknell Harmony Day organiser Dai Jeffries put it, "A sound to turn the most hardened critic's head."

Mick Ryan & Pete Harris

In this inspired pairing, Pete is well known in both folk and blues circles, while Mick is originator of and sings in his series of Folk Operas, the latest being The Voyage (CD available). He is known on the folk scene as a fine singer of traditional and original material; Folk Roots described him as "definitely the most underrated singer in the country". Pete Harris (voice, guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, mandola, bass guitar, whistle) as well as being a fine solo performer, has worked with a number of highly successful bands including "Bursledon Village Band" and "The New St. George". Mick and Pete have released 4 albums, "Drink up the Sun", "Another Place, Another Time", "The Widow's Promise" (a CD of the best of the previous two) and most recently their "Hard Season" CD, highly praised in Reviews.
