While the EFDSS is applying for funding to employ an Education Director and substantially to expand its educational activities with the ongoing reorganisation and the retirement of Diana Campbell Jewitt, Carolyn has been appointed as temporary part-time educational consultant to the Society. More in this pdf file (reproduced from English Dance & Song autumn 2007)
Carolyn is a qualified teacher and has taught at schools in England, Scotland and Wales. 

She is the Consultant on the recent BBC TV Folk Dance series for schools.  Until 1996 she was the Education Officer for the English Folk Dance and Song Society. 

Carolyn also directs Alton Community Choir, community-based singing with a wide-ranging repertoire including folk, blues and world music.
